Long Distance

If Long Distance is your thing then you are on the right track! It has taken PVRC months of planning, organising, and treking (on foot) to finally achieve the ultimate in long distance riding for the middle counties. We are very pleased to have created the rides that can take us north to the top of the Ridgeway, or south to the sea and a variety of alternate hacking in the middle. These rides have been tried and tested and are fabulous. They can be escorted by us, using our horses, or maybe you’d like to bring your own! We pride ourselves in not just the organisation of the hacks but the back up service – lost shoes, lame horses, or maybe you’ve just have enough!! Our staff are there to help.

Corporate days, pony clubs, riding clubs, charity rides, or just a group of friends wanting to have some fun!! We are able to offer any level of service you require – help can be minimal or we can arrange and escort the whole hack for you – the decision is yours. Remember that we have already completed these rides and they are wonderfu!

Some of the packages that we have already arranged:

• One day ride – PVRC to Lambourn Downs, approx. 27 miles
• One day ride, Lambourn Downs to Streatly, approx. 22 miles
• Three day ride: PVRC to A303, A303 to The New Forest, The New Forest to the Sea, approx 70 miles in total!
• Please note that at the present time we do not offer these rides on consecutive days, i.e. the South Coast ride is done in stages- returning to the stables at night and the next stage is arranged at a later date.

All these rides can vary according to the requirements of your group.
