Lessons

Lessons may be taken as individual, semi-private or group. They are all taught by experienced instructors who hold a wealth of knowledge. Many have now decided to specialise in their given field and we are very proud that we can offer training to an advanced level in any field.

Lessons range from the beginner adult/child to people who just want to become proficient enough to go trail riding in our wonderful countryside. Many of our clients progress to obtaining their own horse and taking part in competitions! The choice is yours and we are just here to make it happen.

Training

We are delighted to offer courses to suit all levels ages and abilities. As PVRC has a large range of horses from youngsters to schoolmasters, as well as some experienced competition horses. We are able to run established student training programmes in an excellent training environment. Our qualified staff combined with superb facilities will give a head start to any student, regardless of your level.

• Preparation courses for BHS exams, tailor made to suit your needs. Options include private daily tuition or joining
a group.
• Short/refresher courses are available for most BHS and NVQ exams as well as required day to day knowledge. These can be weekly or daily which can include group lessons, practical stable management and a theory lecture group.
• BHS progressive tests run weekly though out the year. Once you have obtained all 6 tests then together with your BHS membership you will automatically received your BHS Stage One Equivalent.
• NVQ courses are now a key element in the education of all ages. They are achieved by a method of continual assessment and are a combined system of the traditional BHS style lectures, riding lessons and practical stable management.

All exams build knowledge, experience and confidence whatever age or standard you may be. Our aim is for clients/students to enjoy their time at PVRC. Our goal is to be fully flexible with all our courses and we do our very best to accommodate your needs.
